In 2025, we’re prioritizing improvements that enhance customization, collaboration, and storytelling. Our roadmap includes:

• Events: Enhancements to event management, including support for recurring events, improved location handling, and integrations with Google Maps and Apple Maps.

• Blocks: Expanded customization options for event blocks, making it easier to design and display events seamlessly.

• Team Members: New ways to associate posts with team members, along with additional social channels for showcasing their work.

• Animations: Introduction of storytelling blocks with advanced animations and interactive elements, allowing for more engaging content presentation.

• Speed: Ongoing performance and accessibility optimizations to ensure Amplify remains fast, reliable, and user-friendly.

As we continue to build, we’re also keeping a close eye on developments in WordPress and Gutenberg to maintain long-term compatibility and future-proof the platform.

Storytelling Animations

Our storytelling animations bring your content to life with dynamic, full-screen slides. Create layered animations that stack seamlessly or slide over one another for smooth, engaging transitions. Enhance interactivity by swapping images based on text as it moves across the screen, ensuring a visually compelling experience that adapts to your narrative. Whether you’re crafting immersive reports, presentations, or digital stories, these animations provide a powerful way to captivate your audience.

  • In View Block – Add a class to elements when they appear on the page so individual animations, like fade in or out, can be applied.
  • Float Motion Block – Create as series of slides that change backgrounds based on objects that float in and out of view.
  • Sync Motion Block – Create a series of pinned slides – vertical or horizontal – that appear in sync on scroll.

Enhanced Events

We’re making powerful updates to our events plugin to give users more flexibility and efficiency when managing events. The next iteration will allow users to separate date and time, making it possible to schedule events with or without a time association. Additionally, event locations will be seamlessly integrated with Google and Apple Maps, providing one-click directions for attendees. Lastly, we’re introducing recurring events, enabling users to create an event once and have it automatically repeat—streamlining event management like never before.

  • Recurring Events – Create an event once and set it to repeat automatically for more efficient post creation.

Team Member Enhancements

We’re expanding the capabilities of our team member plugin to provide more flexibility and connectivity. The next update will include support for additional social channels, making it easier to showcase team members’ professional profiles. Additionally, organizations will be able to link team members to posts or custom post types, allowing them to credit contributors to content—even if they aren’t website admins. These enhancements ensure better visibility and recognition for your team’s work.

  • Non-Admin Association – Credit team members for their work without requiring website admin access.
  • Content Attribution – Link team members to posts or custom post types to showcase contributors.
  • Expanded Social Channel Support – Add more social platforms to team member profiles.

Event Location Details

Easily add and manage event locations with seamless mapping integration. Our enhanced location features ensure attendees can find venues effortlessly while simplifying event setup.

  • Custom Venue Details – Add venue names, addresses, and additional location notes.

Amplify Documentation Guides

We’re excited to announce the upcoming launch of comprehensive documentation and training guides for Amplify’s theme, plugins, and blocks. These resources will be designed to help users navigate and maximize the full potential of Amplify, offering step-by-step instructions, best practices, and in-depth explanations. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced developer, our guides will provide clear, accessible content to support you in customizing, building, and optimizing your site with ease. With these tools, you’ll be able to confidently leverage the power of Amplify to create seamless and impactful digital experiences.

  • Organization Account – Each Amplify user will have access to an account page where they can submit support tickets and feature requests.
  • Newsletters – Organizations will be able to opt into Amplify newsletters.
  • Documentation – Guides for each major feature of Amplify’s toolkit. Only available to Amplify members.

Blocks, Blocks, Blocks

We’ve developed several custom blocks to extend WordPress’s Gutenberg editor, enhancing the tools already available to organizations. These custom blocks are designed to offer more flexibility and functionality, allowing users to create dynamic, engaging content with ease. By integrating seamlessly into the Gutenberg interface, our blocks help organizations optimize their workflows and improve the overall content creation experience, empowering users to build visually compelling websites without needing to write any code.

  • Select Query – Allow site admins to select an individual post or custom post to display.
  • Related Post Query – Return post content that relates directly to the post being viewed. If no content can be found, fallback to a standard query result.
  • Carousels – Allow admins to create static carousels that align with Gridible. As well as, create a carousel that is created dynamically from post content.
  • Accordion – Allow admins to place content in an accordion block that allows users to toggle open and closed the content details.

Amplify Theme Release

We’re excited to announce the release of the first version of our Amplify theme, a WordPress theme that is both organization and style agnostic. Designed to be flexible and versatile, Amplify provides the essential tools and features needed to help organizations of all kinds effectively tell their story. Whether you’re a non-profit, business, or creative team, Amplify offers the foundation to build a compelling online presence that aligns with your unique goals and values.

  • Theme – WordPress starter theme that contains all of the useful plugins – basic and premium – needed to create an immersive digital story.
  • Pattern Library – Full pattern library to help ease the content creation process.
